Back on the big screen, Jolie starred in the high-action comic book thriller, "Wanted" (2008), playing a supersensory assassin who mentors an office-bound wimp (James McAvoy), turning him into a highly skilled member of a centuries-old order of hit men. Following a leading voice role as Tigress in the blockbuster animated family comedy, "Kung Fu Panda" (2008), Jolie returned to Oscar-caliber form with "Changeling" (2008), a period thriller inspired by true events directed by Clint Eastwood.
